Nothing compares to spending time on a desolate snow covered mountain with a few friends, or even by yourself. It's a process of simplicity; the mountain, the gear, the snow, and the weather. Backcountry skiing is my most deeply rooted addiction. I'm a junky, and can't do without it. Sometimes I feel as if everything else is just training for skiing.
