Corral Car Shuttle topped of with a Crash

Joe, Zippy, Grant, Bob

First time out with Zippy doing something fun and he crashed himself and his right shoulder into the dirt very hard.  I would have been happy with a mellow ride myself.  Zippy probably agrees.

Zippy, Grant and I did the lazy man's drive up Oneidas.  Bob cranked up it the right way:

October rains and cool weather had the dirt in $$$ shape.  Bob on the slab on the connector trail:

Bob's had a pretty damn good summer on the bike.  Rode this trail just a few times:

Lower Corral and we caught up with Zippy (since he stopped), and then he caught back up with us quickly.  Nuts!

Bob takes a more reasonable line at a logical speed:

Then Zippy lined up a big kicker.  One second later he was regretting this one as he endo'd and landed hard on his right shoulder.  It was a hard fall, and our day of riding was done.

This is just a little out of focus, eh?

After rolling around in the dirt cussing and praying his ski season wasn't over due to ANOTHER shoulder injury, Zippy hiked out and sat stoically reflecting on his good fortune.  Next stop, Barton Hospital:

It turned out no surgery was necessary and he could start rehab....I mean physical therapy in 3 weeks.  He'll be rockin' the slopes soon enough.
