Toads in November

Joe, Todd, Matt, Kaptain and Brian

While we wait for the snow we keep riding the bikes.  So Brian came down from the north shore to ride the ultimate south shore ride - Mr. Toads.  Toads is always good late in the fall when the cold nights and fall storms keep the dirt tight and the temps down.  We rode from my house thru south upper truckee, up the campground to Big Meadow and up, up, up the single tracks to the top.  Besides battling through my feverish symptoms, it was a great ride.  The downhill was epic as always.  Kaptain was kind enough to shed enough blood for all of us.

Campground road.  View from the caboose:

A few mandatory walks on the up:

Finishing the techy section on the down - Kaptain:

We actually took the time to take a few shots on the million steps part.  Matt:

Even got a few shots of Big Daddy:

Big Green Blur.

And back at home for beers and band aids:

OK, biking was good. But let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
